Webflow news

An update of the Figma to Webflow app: The latest release brings Design System Sync – a revamped way to sync components and variables. If you manage your design system in Figma, this will make it easier to keep it in sync with Webflow.

I'm glad to see this update, and I'll test it with Relume components.

Personal update

I've played around with Relume's AI Site Builder in the past. This week, I had the chance to use it on a commercial project for the first time.

Here's how it works. You tell Relume what you're building. The more details you provide, the better your results.

First, Relume will generate a sitemap and a list of sections for each page. You can (and should) fine-tune this.

Once ready, you can generate wireframes from Relume's component library. It even generates some initial copywriting, including copywriting in languages other than English.

It's extremely fast and easy to create first drafts. Don't get me wrong, you still need to put a lot of effort into making the web designs unique and the copywriting outstanding, but Relume will save you a lot of time getting over a blank canvas.

It also looks like this will be the future of web design, so I recommend you try it out and get ahead of the curve.
